At certain times of the year, The Tack Room is available for just two guests. You will love this beautiful spacious single storey cottage with its large family bathroom. You will love the going for long walks in the Forest or visiting one of the quaint villages. Returning after a day exploring, you can enjoy cooking together in the spacious kitchen and having long leisurely meals at the large dining table, before relaxing in front of the fire. We can accommodate one baby up to 18 months of age in a travel cot in the bedroom. Making it the perfect retreat for new parents.

Check Availability
We do not have set check in and check out days, as we like to offer our guests the flexibility of picking the dates best suited to them. We normally have a three night minimum stay, and The Tack Room for Two is mostly available midweek outside of school holidays. We usually open the calendar about four weeks in advance. Prices vary throughout the year and you can find out the total for your stay here.

Lounge
The beautiful and spacious open plan living area is perfect for relaxing in. Heated by underfloor heating with the addition of a log burner, means it is cosy whatever the weather. A basket of wood and kindling is provided for you and you can top this up from the log store throughout your stay. The large Smart TV is connected to the WiFi so you can log in to your own Netflix and Amazon accounts. A Blu-Ray player is also available if you fancy watching an old school movie.

Kitchen
The kitchen is well-equipped and you can easily cook a Sunday roast if you fancy. There are plenty of pans and dishes, an oven with grill and electric hob. The large fridge/freezer, plenty of storage space and the dishwasher give you that home from home feeling. Dishwasher tablets as well as washing up liquid and tea towels are available for your use. Milk, tea, sugar and ground coffee together with a cafetiere are provided so you can settle in as soon as you arrive.
Bedroom
The bedroom features a comfortable king sized bed. The bed is made up with luxury cotton sheets, a 10 tog microfibre duvet and two microfibre pillows per person. The room has an open wardrobe with hanging space and shelves, a large mirror and hair dryer.
Bathroom
The large family bathroom has a bath with shower over, sink with mirror over and toilet. Lovely fluffy white towels and face cloths are provided for your stay.
Outside
A lovely large garden, overlooking our paddocks where you can often see deer grazing is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a lazy afternoon. In the evenings you can light the BBQ for some alfresco dining and the outside lighting extends your evenings after sunset. Plenty of parking is available. The shared laundry with washing machine and dryer is available should you need it.
Children
We can accommodate one baby 18 months and below in The Tack Room for Two. When you book please add a note in the comments section so we can provide for them. Having twins ourselves we understand how a few extra touches can make travelling a lot easier. We can provide a travel cot, high chair, a baby bath and bottle steriliser for you. As standard there are some toys, books and games, as well as plastic plates, cups and cutlery available in our cottages. If there is anything else we can provide please do ask.
