The Tack Room

The beautiful and spacious open plan living area is perfect for family and friends to relax. Heated by underfloor heating with the addition of a log burner, means it is cosy whatever the weather. A basket of wood and kindling is provided for you and you can top this up from the log store throughout your stay. One of the sofas turns into an extra double bed with storage underneath for bedding. The large Smart TV is connected to the WiFi so you can log in to your own Netflix and Amazon accounts. A Blu-Ray player is also available if you fancy watching an old school movie.

The kitchen is well-equipped and you can easily cook a Sunday roast if you fancy. There are plenty of  pans and dishes, an oven with grill and electric hob. The large fridge/freezer, plenty of storage space and the dishwasher give you that home from home feeling. Dishwasher tablets as well as washing up liquid and tea towels are available for your use. Milk, tea, sugar and ground coffee together with a cafetiere are provided so you can settle in as soon as you arrive. The dining table with seating for eight will facilitate those all important dinner conversations.

Two of the bedrooms feature a comfortable super king sized bed, which you can choose to have made up as two single beds if required. The third bedroom has a comfortable king size bed. All beds are made up with luxury cotton sheets, a 10 tog microfibre duvet and two microfibre pillows per person. All three rooms have an open wardrobe with hanging space and shelves, a large mirror and hair dryer. In the lounge is a comfortable double sofa bed (140*190cm) with storage underneath for bedding. 

The large family bathroom has a bath with shower over, sink with mirror over and toilet. The shower room features a large walk in shower, sink with mirror over and toilet. Lovely fluffy white towels and face cloths are provided for your stay.

A lovely large garden, overlooking our paddocks where you can often see deer grazing is the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a lazy afternoon. In the evenings you can light the BBQ for some alfresco dining and the outside lighting extends your evenings after sunset. Plenty of parking is available. The shared laundry with washing machine and dryer is available should you need it.

Children aged two and under are not counted towards the total number of guests staying. When you book please add a note in the comments section so we can provide for them. Having twins ourselves we understand how a few extra touches can make travelling a lot easier. We can provide travel cots, high chairs, a baby bath and bottle steriliser for you. As standard there are some toys, books and games, as well as plastic plates, cups and cutlery available in our cottages. If there is anything else we can provide please do ask.
